Legislation has been re-introduced in Congress to permanently REPEAL 40-year-old restrictions on short-barreled rifles, shotguns and other similar firearms – known as the Stop Harassing Owners of Rifles Today (SHORT) Act.

The SHORT Act removes these guns from the National Firearms Act (NFA), and if passed, would relieve gun owners of the excess taxes and bureaucratic red tape that currently exist.

REPEAL GUN CONTROL: PASS THE SHORT ACT

Petition to my U.S. Senators and Representative

WHEREAS: For too long, responsible gun owners have been subjected to excessive restrictions, lengthy approval processes, and unnecessary taxation simply for possessing legally owned firearms; and,

WHEREAS: The SHORT Act seeks to eliminate these unjust regulations and affirm the Second Amendment rights of Americans; and,

WHEREAS: This critical legislation aims to protect the rights of law-abiding gun owners by repealing burdensome federal regulations on short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and certain firearms classified under the National Firearms Act (NFA).

THEREFORE: As your constituent, I insist you stand with the millions of responsible gun owners across the country by passing the SHORT Act IMMEDIATELY.
