Dear Fellow Patriot,
The pro-gun grassroots turned out in droves this election season, sending a loud and clear message to politicians that the Second Amendment is non-negotiable.
Now, with Republicans set to take control of both congressional chambers and the White House, it is time to get to work overturning the Biden-era gun grabs.
But, before this new Congress takes the oath of office, GOP leaders in the U.S. Senate will name their Majority Leader.
And wouldn’t you know it… Anti-Gun Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is here to ruin our day again.
Cornyn has been tapped as the “front runner” for this behind the scenes, closed door campaign.
Remember, this is the guy who single handedly whipped the votes necessary to pass the most egregious gun control package in three decades. And furthermore, the guy who INSULTED NAGR members that asked him to not cut a gun control “deal”.
Instead, John Cornyn went on to become the architect of S. 2938 – Joe Biden’s so-called “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act”, which expanded the Federal Gun Control Act, and launched a new funding program for “Red Flag” gun confiscation.
Alongside Senator Cornyn, Sens. Rick Scott (R-FL), and John Thune (R-SD) have also been rumored as contenders.
As Governor of Florida, Rick Scott signed into law one of the worst “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation bills in the nation, a position he defends to this day with his sponsorship of S.292.
While John Cornyn and Rick Scott have each committed cardinal and unforgivable sins against the Second Amendment… John Thune (R-SD) doesn’t have a perfect record either. Thune voted to reauthorize the Undetectable Firearms Act (S.2226).
Whether or not the Senate GOP surrenders on the Second Amendment before they even take power depends on you.
Please sign your “Demand Pro-Gun Senate Leadership” petition right away.
We must DEMAND the next Senate Majority Leader apologize for any gun control betrayals, and promise to lead the fight to restore the Second Amendment they campaigned on.
My team will deliver your petition to these candidates for Majority Leader.
